AWANA runs from September through May on Wednesday evenings, 6:15-8:20pm.
For children 3 years old through 6th grade, it features Scripture memorization, and
instructional time, and a game time for each age group. Bible Quiz, Game Quest, and Olympics
are special events in the Spring. We strive to provide an atmosphere where learning and fun
are combined to build Christian character in our children. Parents are especially invited to
observe or help in this lively ministry.
- Fall Festival - Halloween night, 6-8 pm. booths, candy, obstacle course, giant slide.
A great outreach to the surrounding neighborhood.
- Family Camps - one in July, one in January - held in the gymnasium.
Easter Festival - Saturday before Easter. 10-noon. booths, cookie decorating,
air jumpers, and the Easter story.

Unleashing -
Opportunities to unleash in ministry - for kids
Some of the most exciting times when you see your children take on opportunities to do ministry. We facilitate this in a
number of unique and age-appropriate ways. These include local aid and outreach projects including Operation Christmas Child,
Project Angel Tree and Hope Totes. We also encourage you to do ministry as a family through Family Missions Trips with other
families in the church.
