Administrative Pastor with focus on connecting new people, providing membership opportunities, and coordinating Sunday AM adult classes.
 
What is the best part about your role?
Communicating with new people to help them get connected within the church so they can grow in their faith and be unleashed to serve in missions and ministries.
 
What is your favorite thing about living in Colorado?
The people! They are influenced by living where the pace of life is only moderate and by the beautiful scenery of God's creation.
 
What are your favorite Bible verses?
Psalm 23. God has done it all and He personally leads us!
 
Psalm 37:23,24. "If the Lord delights in a man's way, He makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His Hand."
 
What is one thing about you that would be surprising to others?
Gordon has traveled through 47 states in the USA. He hopes to get to the three missing states (Iowa, North Dakota & Oklahoma) one of these days.
 
 
 

Gordon has been involved in leadership in four different churches, ranging in size from a start-up to a mega-church. He, and his wife Kathy, came to Bear Valley in early 2004 after retiring from business and moving from California. Gordon has degrees in Chemical Engineering (BS from Virginia Tech & MS from Polytechnic University, Brooklyn, NY). He managed a R&D Manufacturing Process Development Department in the semiconductor chip industry before switching to being a Marketing and Profit & Loss Director in that business. During his mid-life crisis he decided people were more interesting than science. Then Gordon was in the commercial coffee equipment industry with his own company before retiring from the business world. Gordon & Kathy have three adult children who live within 40 minutes of their Lakewood home.
