Neil Parrett - Missions Coordinator NEIL PARRETT
What is your role at BVC?
I do a couple of things, I draft and oversee the foreign mission budget. I also serve as staff assistant to the Move the World Grant Team. Currently, because of my background career as an engineer, I am managing, and supervising the renovation and construction work (by contractors and volunteers) of the BVC building "For the Kingdom."

What is the best part about your role?
Having frequent opportunities to assist people of various nationalities while expanding the outer edges of God's Kingdom on earth.

What makes you laugh?
The woman I married almost fifty years ago still sees the world and me with good humor.

What is your favorite thing about living in Colorado?
The state has sufficient appeal to keep my children and their kids (the grandchildren) living nearby. Thanks, Jesus, for Colorado.

What is your favorite scripture?
The story of Jesus in the book of John. The description in Hebrews of what Jesus means for us. Now, becoming an old guy, I look forward to experiencing "every creature in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: 'To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!'"(Rev. 5:13).

About Neil
Neil has been a Bear Valley Church member for over twenty years. After his retirement, Neil began coordinating the BVC missions program as a part-time staff volunteer. He and wife Kathy have two adult children, both living in the Denver area.

Neil helps focus BVC missions program where God's spirit is most active. Locally, that's Denver's inner city. Internationally, focus is on some Native-led ministries within what is named the "10/40 window" of the world. He looks forward to helping you contribute to expanding God's Kingdom by volunteering to do ministry in Denver or by participating in a short-term mission trip overseas.
